Our guidance continues to align with the Infectious Diseases Society of America and our recommendation remains all touring parties should continue to wear masks, require masks for local crews and test regularly regardless of vaccination status.  In a statement this week, IDSA President Daniel P. McQuillen, MD, FIDSA, supported CDC’s recommendation that everyone wear well-fitting, high-quality masks in indoor settings when COVID-19 community levels are high, and also on public transportation systems, although the federal mask mandate has been lifted."While vaccination significantly lowers everyone’s risk of severe disease, people with weakened immune systems, chronic diseases or those who are older still have some risk even when vaccinated.”
